About my Interest in Psychology
One branch of psychology that really interest me is Abnormal Psychology. This study interest me because I have many family members and friends that deal with a lot of the topics that they help people with and I think it would be really amazing to really understand how these people are feeling and why they are feeling that way. This area of psychology mainly focus on eating disorders, depression, phobias, schizophrenia, and antisocial personality disorder. A doctorates degree is required for this psychology field and that takes about four to seven years of school. To become an Abnormal Psychologist you have to have passion for discovery, learning and listening to be successful with your clients and to provide clinical services. One job a person could have with this branch is being a clinical social worker and working in a clinical setting.
